The 2017 Southern Series held over the weekend presented a completely different challenge to racers and supporters over the two days. Day one was held in Invercargill with dry weather providing a fast days racing across all 7 classes. Day 2 in Dunedin was not pleasent, with low cloud and drizzle hanging around all day making for a slippery track but once again some great racing and displays of kart control. Congratulations to all those who competed across the 2 day event, and to those who travelled from far and wide to make the event a success, both competitors and race officials.
The Southland Club performed well over the weekend with several podium placings in both the senior and junior classes. Final results can be found here.
